Northside neighborhood trail maps now available! Posted on December 16, 2016 by Grounded Strategies Share this post Whether you live in Pittsburgh’s Northside or not, it’s unlikely that you’ve been able to explore each and every one of its 18 neighborhoods. Now you can do just that! We have trail maps, fresh off the press, for each of the Northside’s neighborhoods. Over the past 2 years we’ve worked alongside One Northside and Northside residents to map out important community treasures and identify the best routes to explore them. Not surprisingly, there are a lot of assets! Our list includes over 1200 treasures like historic sites, overlooks, and murals. With the guidance of Northsiders, we then created trail maps that you can use to explore these places in each of the Northside’s neighborhoods on foot or by bicycle. We hope that you can use the maps to rediscover your own neighborhood, get to know a neighborhood that is new to you, or fall in love with the Northside! Where can I pick up the trail maps? The maps can be found in brochure stands in the following locations: Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh – Woods Run Branch – 1201 Woods Run Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15212 Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh – Allegheny Branch – 1230 Federal St, Pittsburgh, PA 15212 One Northside Office – 100 S Commons, Pittsburgh, PA 15212 To access digital versions of the trail maps, visit our resources page.
