Explore 23 maps that showcase Northside treasures Posted on September 24, 2015 by wpengine Share this post Treasure mapping in a quest to build community resources This summer, we had the pleasure of working with 11 student researchers from Chatham, CMU and Penn State to map assets throughout the 18 Northside neighborhoods as part of the One Northside Asset Inventory and Mapping (Northside AIM) project. We aimed to: Engage the community to find as many resident-identified assets as possible Map gems in every one of the 18 Northside neighborhoods Encourage and support student talent and creativity Package our findings in ways that can support other projects and partners As part of our goal to make this information useful to as many people as possible, we created pretty maps, interactive maps and GIS maps. We hope that you will explore them, use them, share them and love them! Check them out: Interactive GIS Map – this map includes the almost 1800 treasures that we found, including environmental, cultural, local economy, and transit asset maps.
