Announcing, the PGH Mobile Toolbox!

We have been working hard to prepare our latest resource for vacant lot cleaning and greening efforts. Introducing the PGH Mobile Toolbox, a tool library on wheels, ready for your next workday or cleanup! This resource is brought to you through our partnership with Neighborhood Allies and is intended to fill the resource gap between project inspiration and its implementation.

Through our experience, we found no shortage of good ideas and residents who are motivated to execute them. However, a continued barrier has been limited access to the tools needed to execute the idea. We have specifically designed the PGH Mobile Toolbox to be as accessible as possible so we can continue to see amazing projects happen throught Pittsburgh, and Allegheny County.

To get started, you simply need to submit an intake form and the trailer staff will get in contact with you within 3 business days to discuss your workday. Currently, the PGH Mobile Toolbox is available Fridays and Saturdays, starting at 10am from April 1st through September 30th. And don’t worry, we have a hauler contracted for  transporting the trailer. So, if you don’t have a truck, no problem! You bring the team. We bring the tools.
