Home : Our Work : Resilience Generation (ReGen) Resources : Millvale Community Needs Assessment Millvale Community Needs Assessment Share this project The Millvale Community Library (MCL) is in the process of completing a Community Needs Assessment in order to more deeply understand, engage, and support its residents. The Community Needs Assessment will provide a comprehensive understanding of Millvale’s community strengths and any gaps in existing social services. Through the process, the MCL aims to shift their organizational culture to focus on a logic model and strategic planning decisions being made with a focus on the link between programming decision making, community needs, and creating small, ongoing data collection opportunities to create a responsive programming and investment decision-making model. Our team worked with the MCL to provide strategies to reduce barriers to participation by Millvale neighbors during 12-to-18 months of planning and programming development. Grounded Strategies assisted by launching and training a data collection platform as well as developed strategies for sharing and disseminating the results.
