Greening Homewood Clusters: Year Two

In the fall of 2016, GTECH partnered again with Operation Better Block (OBB) to implement four greening and beautification projects in Homewood. This was the second year of continued partnership between GTECH and Operation Better Block via the Cluster Planning process. Each project was imagined, designed and implemented with the help of residents and local stakeholders in Homewood. The Cluster Planning process created a detailed land use vision for Homewood’s future based on the needs and desires of existing, present-day community stakeholders. This process will considered both long- and short-term land use, working with residents in one part of the neighborhood at a time.

Currently, GTECH is working to implement the four beautification projects before the end of the year. Our goal was to continue the work to energize residents to get involved in community beautification initiatives.
