Thomas Mulholland

Project Coordinator

Tom arrived at Grounded via a fellowship with PULSE (Pittsburgh Urban Leadership Service Experience) in 2016. His interest in place-making and community engagement led him here.

Tom is from a small town in upstate New York. He attended the State University of New York at Geneseo, where he studied sociology and urban geography. Prior to joining us, Tom worked for the Thomas Merton Center and the East End Food Co-Op, doing outreach and communications work. Tom is excited to have found a footing for his ‘people and places’ focus, and for the opportunity to work with community leaders to implement projects with tangible impacts.

When Tom isn’t working in the office, he’s biking around his neighborhood of Garfield, sharing meals, gardening, and making art.
