Rebecca Mizikar Email LinkedIn Director of Design & Placemaking Pronouns: she/her/hers Rebecca Mizikar brings over 20 years of experience in community design and planning to Grounded. Rebecca began working with Grounded Strategies 6 years ago as a consultant landscape architect, and has now been on staff for 3+ years. Her first projects were design/renderings for vacant lots and a vision plan for the St. John’s Green, more recently she has been involved in community stormwater management strategies and projects that connect youth to natural play spaces. Rebecca loves that the dress code here can be business or work boots on any given day. She spends equal time sketching with colored pencils to bring community visions to life and testing out design ideas with power tools back in our workshop – which makes it a dream job for Rebecca! …not to mention she enjoys working with a young and enthusiastic team of like-minded folks that are making a difference in local neighborhoods every day. Rebecca loves live music, especially roots/Americana and recently acquired a mandolin.
