Gerry Isaac Williams was born in Jakarta, Indonesia, and raised in South Los Angeles, California. He graduated from Howard University in Washington D.C. where he studied sociology and the Arabic language.  He is currently pursuing the Master of Science in Public Policy & Management program at Heinz College in Carnegie Mellon University.

Isaac is passionate about environmental justice and human rights. He aspires to work in the field of international development to ensure social, economic, and environmental justice for marginalized communities around the world. Isaac is grateful for an opportunity to assist Grounded in achieving environmental justice for local Pittsburgh communities.

In his free time, Isaac loves playing the ukulele, learning languages, international travel, and cycling around Pittsburgh!
