Becca Simon

Repair the World Pittsburgh Fellow

Becca was born and raised in Hillsboro, OR. She received her undergraduate degree in International Political Economy and Environmental Policy & Decision Making from the University of Puget Sound in 2019. Post undergrad, Becca served as a FoodCorps AmeriCorps Service Member in Ronan, MT doing nutrition, gardening, and food justice education with Kindergarten-5th grade students. Since FoodCorps, Becca has moved to Pittsburgh to serve as a Fellow with Repair the World Pittsburgh. Becca is passionate about supporting the work communities are doing to promote equity and justice in Pittsburgh.

Becca is excited to be partnered with Grounded Strategies as their Repair the World Pittsburgh Fellow this year. She is looking forward to helping Grounded with increasing their volunteer outreach and supporting their programs.

In her free time, Becca loves to go hiking, running, and baking!
