Becca was born and raised in Hillsboro, OR. She received her undergraduate degree in International Political Economy and Environmental Policy & Decision Making from the University of Puget Sound in 2019. Post undergrad, Becca served as a FoodCorps AmeriCorps Service Member in Ronan, MT doing nutrition, gardening, and food justice education with Kindergarten-5th grade students. After FoodCorps, Becca moved to Pittsburgh to serve as a Fellow with Repair the World Pittsburgh where she was committed to helping engage the Pittsburgh community in acts of service and learning. Through her Fellowship, she was partnered with Grounded Strategies to help with volunteer outreach and feels fortunate to join the team full time! Now she’s at Grounded Strategies, she is eager to continue supporting community members in their goals of restoring vacant land, building community, and improving the environment of Pittsburgh!

In her free time, Becca loves to get outside to go on runs, hike, and get some time in the garden!
