Anna Archer

Director of Policy & Land Stewardship

Pronouns: she/her/hers
Anna arrived at Grounded shortly after finishing her Master’s of Public Administration (MPA) degree at Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs. In graduate school, Anna studied nonprofit management and completed a fellowship at Sycamore Land Trust. Before joining the team, she served as an AmeriCorps volunteer in Boulder, Colorado and worked for the University of Kansas Environmental Studies Program. Anna attended the University of Kansas (Rock Chalk!) for her undergraduate degree, studying Public Policy and Environmental Studies.

Previously, Anna’s experiences have focused on addressing environmental issues and community engagement separately. She is excited to work for an organization that combines these interests and addresses complex issues at a grassroots level.

When she’s not inside working, Anna is figuring out a way to be outside enjoying nature. She loves hiking, camping, and traveling. Anna is one of five kids, and between her and the rest of her siblings, they cover every time zone in the US, which means she is frequently planning who she should visit next!
