Paul Hawken is an environmentalist, entrepreneur, journalist, and author who has dedicated his life to sustainability and changing the relationship between business and the environment. His practice has included starting and running ecological businesses, writing and teaching about the impact of commerce on living systems, and consulting with governments and corporations on economic development, industrial ecology, and environmental policy. Natural Capitalism, co-authored by Hawken, was cited by President Bill Clinton as one of the five most important books in the world. About Project Drawdown: Project Drawdown is a initiative by a coalition of scientists and researchers who aim to find the most impactful global warming reversal and reduction strategies that could be implemented in the next thirty years. Paul Hawken recently released a book, Drawdown: The Most Comprehensive Plan Ever Proposed to Reverse Global Warming, which details the 100 most sizeable strategies for reducing climate change.
