Innovation Igniter: Commercialization Workshop

Description: Attend this 2-hour workshop to learn how to explain the value of your innovation. During this workshop, you can also determine if there is a market for your idea and discover who your customers are. If you don’t have an idea or invention but are simply curious about the commercialization process, you can attend as well. The Innovation Igniter program is designed to help you get introduced to the business aspects of innovation. Instructors will: Help participants clearly and confidently articulate their value proposition to both scientists and non-scientists; introduce participants to the Business Model Canvas; and teach a few core concepts of the commercialization process including establishing a value proposition, defining customer segments and understanding the process of customer discovery.
