Grounded for Good: 10 Years of GTECH

On Friday, April 21, 2017, GTECH celebrated 10 years of impact on the ground in communities across Allegheny County. We joined 273 of our closest friends, partners, Ambassadors, and family at the Heinz History Center to recognize this momentous occasion and ring in the next 10 years.

The evening included good food, company, music, and programming.  59 people completed our scavenger hunt throughout the Heinz History Center, finding clues to unlock GTECH’s story. If you were too busy to stop at each station, please be sure to check out our “Ode to GTECH” written by our very own Gavin White. Each stanza aligns with a year of GTECH’s history and major activities and one for good luck as we look to the future.

Overall, we raised a total of $74,800 thanks to your generous support and participation – and we hope to keep the momentum going all year long. These important resources support our growing Ambassador network, Green Playces initiative, green stormwater outreach, data collaboration, and our work in the Mon Valley communities.

We look forward to the next 10 years and hope that you will be with us each step of the way.
