Project Manager: Youth Engagement

Pronouns: he/him/his

Moses Wamalwa is an educator, builder, and creative strategist with over a decade of experience designing transformative programs for youth and communities. As Youth Engagement Project Manager at Grounded, he brings an unwavering belief in the brilliance of young people and the responsibility of adults to create space for that brilliance to shape the world around us.

Moses’s work has always lived at the crossroads of identity, justice, and imagination. He has developed student-led civic initiatives, taught in classrooms and community centers, and helped young people connect land, culture, and power through hands-on projects that are as joyful as they are educational. His approach blends deep listening with bold experimentation, and he is known for making young people feel both seen and called higher.

Outside of Grounded, Moses runs Meza by Musa, a culinary storytelling venture that uses East African food as a tool for cultural celebration, community building, and political education. Whether through food, philosophy, or facilitation, his work is ultimately about helping people, especially youth, root deeply, reach boldly, and remember who they are.
