Sean Cuff

Policy Fellow

Pronouns: he/him/his
Sean is a current graduate student in Public Policy and Management (MSPPM) at Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz College. Over the summer Sean will be assisting Grounded staff in developing policy and advocacy strategies, implementing Grounded in Duquesne, and other community-based programs.

Prior to enrolling at Heinz College, Sean served as a Fiscal Policy Analyst on the Massachusetts State Senate Committee on Ways & Means where he focused on affordable housing, homelessness prevention and care, and workforce and economic development. He is a graduate of Northeastern University with a degree in Political Science and Urban Affairs.

Often overheard touting the superior pizza options in his hometown of Scranton, PA, Sean is an advocate of almost any food (with the strong exception of yellow mustard). When not working to make an impact in communities here with Grounded, Sean will be spending his summer grilling, listening to Yankees games, and exploring everything the Pittsburgh area has to offer.
