This year\, GTECH will partner with Operation Better Block\, a Homewood based community development organization\, to activate and program a lot along Frankstown Avenue. There will be food\, entertainment and fun to add to the already festive atmosphere that makes Homewood the number one neighborhood for runners to run through during the event. \nTo add to the festivities\, Canstruction Pittsburgh will be on site to build a one-of-a-kind structure made entirely of donated canned food while thousands of runners pass by the site. All canned food used during the construction of the structure will then be donated back to a local food bank for distribution.
