This year's 8th Bike Tour & Block Party event will feature Grounded's projects in Pittsburgh's eastern neighborhoods (East Liberty, Larimer, Homewood, and Wilkinsburg). This year's SolarFest will be on Sunday, June 23rd at the Frick Environmental Center located at 2005 Beechwood Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15217 from 11 a.m.- 4 p.m. There will be an electric vehicle car show, food trucks, music and information on solar, energy efficiency, efficient solar home design, community solar projects and ways to strengthen Pennsylvania’s renewable energy laws. The food trucks featured at this event include Pittsburgh Halal, Millie's Ice Cream, and Pittsburgh Taco.
Air Quality Community Listening Session that Council Person, Erika Strassburger is hosting on Wednesday, June 26th at 6:00 p.m. at Repair the World Pittsburgh (6022 Broad Street in East Liberty). The format will allow individuals and organizations to share their personal experiences and input on air quality in the Pittsburgh region.
