SUMMARY:2017 Corporate Equity & Inclusion Roundtable
DESCRIPTION:Over 200 business\, government\, higher education\, and non-profit leaders convened last year to share ideas and energy around advancing opportunities for African Americans and people of color in Southwestern Pennsylvania. Come this year to learn about progress\, share opportunities for making a difference in your organization\, and network with others who share a common interest in advancing diversity\, equity and inclusion in Pittsburgh’s workforce and supplier contract opportunities. \nThe Corporate Equity & Inclusion Roundtable (CEIR) is an initiative of the Black Political Empowerment Project (B-PEP) in collaboration with Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto\, Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald\, the Allegheny Conference on Community Development and area agencies and organizations. They hope to revitalize this place so that local families can come together to grow their own food. This space has laid farrow for quite some time\, but this team of Ambassadors are excited and eager to get the ball rolling this spring!
